Here is everything you want and need to know about Rag Rags!
My Rad Rags were born in April of 2007. I was cloth diapering my 5 month old and prefolds just were not cutting it any longer. They were so bulky I could not fit pants on him and were always leaking. I liked the trimness of my pocket diapers with microfiber inserts but I LOVED the variety of prints on the diaper covers. I finally came up with the idea of Rad Rags. I ran my idea by many of my close online cloth diapering friends and with their tips and input I soon had a batch of testers shipped. Within a few weeks the testers had rave reviews. It was then I opened Punk Rock Padding with Rad Rags as the superstar of the store and since then I have sold over 500 Rad Rags.
So what exactly is a Rad Rag?
I am glad you asked! A Rad Rag is made up of 4 layers of ultra absorbent Microfiber.
What is Microfiber?
I am glad you asked that too! It is a synthetic material that is great wicking moisture away from the body.
So a Rad Rag consists of 4 layers of Mircofiber and is covered in different fabrics that are soft against your baby's skin and also known for wicking moisture away from the body.
Rad Rags come in a variety of fabrics and sizes.
Choose your size based on the size diaper your little one is in.
The most popular Rad Rag fabric is Suedecloth which has outstanding durability. It holds up wash after wash and still looks brand new.
Also very popular is Crushed Panne. Crushed Panne is very soft and also durable like the suedcloth.
Rad Rags are also offered in extra soft Velour, Adorable Flannel prints which also add extra absorbency to your Rad Rag, Fleece which is very soft and is great at wicking away moisture and we also have an assortment of different organic fabrics for Rad Rags.
Still undecided?
We have a sampler pack made just for you!
A sampler pack will give you one of each, Suedecloth, Crushed Panne, Velour, Fleece and Flannel.
Rad Rags are one of the most simple ways to cloth diaper.
First, Grab a Cover ( you should really use Mudshrimps.)
Then lay a Rad Rag inside of it.
Place your baby on top of the cover and Rad Rag and close up!
Tada! You're Done!
Look how trim!
Rad Rags are easy to use and to wash! Simply toss Rad Rags in with your normal diaper laundry routine. Rad Rags should be washed separate before your first use and as with any dark color fabric they should be tested for colorfastness before washing with light colored fabrics.
